We aim to provide sound and clear information about chillies. Whether it’s about varieties, flavour notes, growing, advanced growing techniques, cooking, biology or almost anything else, we want to provide a resource of information for the user.
We can often be found at festivals and events providing talks and demonstrations. Previous topics include:
Burning foods & common misconceptions
Overwintering chilli plants
How to pick a hot sauce
The chilli community is a fun and interesting part of society for us. We aim to provide a few fun nights and events each year which are open to all. Occasionally, we will use these occasions to help raise money for our selected charity It’s In The Bag.
Utilising our YouTube channel, we aim to provide informative videos such as product reviews, recipe ideas and a few not-for-the-feint-of-heart challenges! As we travel the world, we aim to provide information and video vlogs about the (chilli) places we visit. We also aim to provide fun and informative posts on our Facebook page.
CHILLI EATING COMPETITIONS
For nearly 9 years we have been hosting chilli eating contests in the UK and Europe. These are challenging competitions for the brave and fearless. They often draw a big, vociferous crowd and remain popular on our YouTube channel. We aim to continue running these events to help provide fun and variety at events.
TV, DIGITAL & PRINTED MEDIA CONSULTANCY
We’ve worked with a number of companies in order to provide content and sound information regarding chilli. Organisations such as BBC, Channel 4, ITV, Men’s Health, The Independent and more have all utilised our knowledge to help generate interesting programmes and articles. We aim to continue to offer our services in this area.
